I am learning about early Latin America. There is one person who lived in Latin America that I thought was very interesting. His name was Antonio "The Little Cripple" Lisboa. He got his name because he was assumed to have leprosy. Antonio was a sculpter. He liked to sculpt a lot. After his hands got so deformed from his leprosy, it is said that his servant tied his chisel and hammer to his wrists so that he could sculpt. Very wierd, but cool at the same time.
Thanks for looking!
