Science Chapter 9 Summary

Hello! I am going to summarize what I have learned in chapter 9 of my science book.

This chapter was titled:

BIBLICAL CREATIONISM

It talks about how the earth was made, what evolutionists think, and much more! Here are some things I learned:


First up, the definition of Creationism and Evolutionism:


Creationism is the belief that the physical universe including the earth and all living things, was created by God.

Evolutionism is the belief that the physical universe, including life, was not created but happened by chance.


Second, here is the order the earth was made:

Day 1 - Light and Dark
Day 2 - Space to divide the waters
Day 3 - Land and Plants
Day 4 - Sun, Moon, and Stars
Day 5 - Aquatic and flying creatures
Day 6 - Land animals and man


Notice how days one and four, two and five, and three and six are related.


Third, some Q's and A's:

Q: Is creation a matter of fact or faith?
A: Faith, because no man has seen the earth created.

Q: Why was a steering device not necessary on Noah's Ark?
A: The ark was not intended to go anywhere. - The whole earth was flooded.

Q: How come whale skeletons are in the desert?
A: Because during the worldwide flood, many animals got washed away to the desert.
