"It is the year 2009.

Chris Hendrickson, Aqua Raider, is going for a routine practice dive. He unties the ropes to his boat, and sets sail. After a half-hour, Chris stops. He unlatches his his underwater mini-sub and dives into the water. After decending about 20 feet, Chris sees a glowing object moving in the depths of the ocean. He abandons his sub and swims to take a closer look. The object is scaled, rough, and hot. - Very odd in a place as cold as the ocean. Chris notices a button on the bottom of the triangular object and presses it. He is warped thousands of years into time.

It is the year 6418.

Chris is floating around helpless in the cold, darkness of outer space. (Chris has an airtank because he is still in his diving suit.) A starship flashes by. A few minutes later, a very large freighter floats by. Chris is able to grab onto it and climb inside. Chris is inside of the cargo room. After a few seconds of looking around the room, Chris realizes that this is a weapons freighter. Chris grabs a clear space assault rifle and begins his new life. . . in space."
