Another Science Experiment!

What is this one about?
Diffusion

What is Diffusion?
Diffusion is when molecules of a higher concentration move to an area of lower concentration.

How did I test it?
I got two jars. One was filled with hot water, and the other with cold. I put three drops of food coloring in each jar. We are going to see which turns the color of the food coloring faster without stirring it.

What were the results?
The jar with the hot water made the food coloring diffuse faster because the hot water molecules move faster, therefore, the food coloring seperates faster. This is because water molecules jiggle, or move. Every time a water molecule hits a food coloring molecule, it changes to the color of the food coloring.

A few seconds after the food coloring was added.
